Anumodana Sankalpa Dhyana Centre – A Space for Reflection, Discipline, and Inner Freedom
Anumodana Sankalpa Dhyana Centre was inaugurated on 31st January, 2026 marking the formal beginning of a dedicated space created for sincere Dhamma practice, meditation, and inner transformation through a simple pooja and meditation to invoke the blessings of Gods and elders for the benefit of those who would come over to meditate from April, 2026 onwards.
The name Anumodana Sankalpa reflects the very spirit on which this centre stands:
Anumodana — rejoicing in wholesome actions and shared merit
Sankalpa — a firm and conscious resolve towards liberation
Together, they express a collective intention: to cultivate sila, samādhi, and paññā through right effort and right understanding.
Vision and Purpose
The centre has been established as a quiet, disciplined, and supportive environment for those who wish to walk the Buddha’s path in a structured and sincere way. It is not meant for casual relaxation, but for serious inner work — reflection, restraint, mindfulness, and insight.
Anumodana Sankalpa Dhyana Centre is envisioned as a place where:
1. The teachings of the Buddha are approached directly through the suttas
2. Meditation is grounded in ethical living and right view
3. Silence, simplicity, and regularity support deepening practice
4. Practitioners come together with humility, responsibility, and mutual respect
Readiness for Retreats
While the centre has been inaugurated on 31st January, the period that follows is devoted to careful preparation, alignment, and refinement of facilities to support sustained practice. The centre will be fully ready to host meditation retreats from 15th April 2026 onwards.
From that time, Anumodana Sankalpa Dhyana Centre will begin offering:
1. Structured residential meditation retreats
2. Guided and self-guided practice schedules
3. Study and reflection sessions rooted in early Buddhist teachings
4. An environment conducive to long hours of mindful sitting, walking, and contemplation
A Collective Offering
This centre stands as a result of generous donations, shared effort, goodwill, and generosity. Every contribution — whether through money, time, resources, or silent support — is received in the spirit of anumodana, rejoicing in wholesome intentions.
May Anumodana Sankalpa Dhyana Centre serve as:
1. A refuge for practice
2. A support for discipline
3. A condition for insight
4. And a quiet aid in the gradual ending of suffering
🙏 Sabbe sattā bhavantu sukhitattā
